2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E
Now in its third year of production, the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E continues to impress drivers with its driving dynamics, abundance of standard safety features, and lengthy all-electric range. This two-row high-performance SUV also houses a user-friendly and visually appealing infotainment system, allowing you to stay connected no matter how long your ride is.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E is available in four trims: Select, Premium, California Route 1, and GT. The new Nite Pony package is available on the Premium trim and adds exterior elements in high-gloss black. The previous all-black roof found on the GT trim has been replaced with a fixed-glass panoramic roof.
Engine (Power)
Ford offers the 2023 Mustang Mach-E with two different battery pack sizes: the 70-kWh Standard Range and 90-kWh Extended Range. Depending on the SUV's drivetrain, the vehicle has either a single or dual motor configuration. Rear-wheel-drive models have a single motor, while all-wheel-drive ones have two motors with one up front and the other in the rear.
Performance
When it comes to gas mileage, the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E achieves solid numbers compared to other vehicles in its class. You'll achieve the best numbers with the lower two trims and the Standard Range battery, which gets an EPA-estimated 110 MPGe in the city and 96 MPGe on the highway. One of the most noticeable updates the automaker made to the SUV involves the Extended Range battery pack by increasing its driving distance. It also has a maximum driving range of 312 miles on a full charge, which is one of the longest ranges of any non-luxury electric SUV. You can achieve this number with the California Route 1 trim, the Extended Range battery, and all-wheel drive.
Interior
Once you step foot inside the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E, you might be surprised at how luxurious the cabin is. The cabin's focal point is the massive 15.5-inch touchscreen display located in the center of the dashboard. The SUV also has a slim 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster located behind the steering wheel, and it displays key driving information such as speed and battery charge level. Standard technology features include wireless smartphone charging, Bluetooth, four USB ports, navigation, satellite radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The SUV also boasts one of the largest cargo capacities in its class. It has 29.7 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats at 59.7 cubic feet once you fold down those rear seats. You'll also find a front trunk with 4.7 cubic feet of space, and it has an integrated drain plug so you can keep beverages on ice.
Safety Features
You'll have a hard time finding another all-electric SUV with as many standard driver-assistance features as the 2023 Mustang Mach-E. A few of these key features include a lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high-beam headlights. Available add-on features include a surround-view parking camera system and BlueCruise, which is a semi-autonomous driving mode that controls the SUV's acceleration, braking, and steering on certain highways.
